the adventurers

Perhaps usefull for anyone starting a warband, a comparison picture, with in the background the Caesar adventurers (incl. the new Caesar Elven Spearman). In the front, from left to right, Caesar dwarf, 2x Copplestone Casting Dwarves, Eurerka dwarf wizard, and 3 Demonworld humans, the perfect halflings?

halflings...

halflings (or Hobbits) anyone? some demonworld 15mm miniatures, in my opinion are the perfect 20mm halflings

Rebasing my warmaster undead army from warmaster to Kings of War. Although warmaster is a nice ruleset, it is no longer supported, so there will come no more new rules and no new armylist. KoW is a relative new set of rules from Mantic Games, has a huge group of players, is very good supported and is still developing new rules, For example they published recently a adaption of the rules for ancients, and they promised us rules for siege and large creatures and monsters... Also there is a long list of fantasy armies to choose from and more to come. And the basic rules are for free to download at http://www.manticdigital.com/

test figures for the Victorian Science Fiction (VSF) force

miniatures are from Hät, nice mini's. I only wished Hät would use some other sort of plastic for them, something harder and not so bendy as this stuff...

Victorian Sci Fi anyone?

These are models from the dystopian legions game. they are supposed to be 32mm scale but I think they are perfect for a 20mm steampunk army. Next buy will be one of the bigger vehicles...

for more info and pictures about dystopian legions see:

wierd ww2 walker

as a big fan of wierd ww2 stuff, I always wondered why there are almost no miniatures in 20mm, with so many other ww2 stuff in our scale. I realy love the minis from Dust Tactics, just the wrong scale. The solution? making my own. The legs are 3d printed, the top is from an old matchbox kit.
what do you think? going to paint it this weekend.

my first mould

made my first mould! needed some more howda's for my undead elephants. and just buying a couple of boxes just for the howda's seems a little bit too much. so why not try to cast them. Not to bad for a first attempt... I know, it is not legal to make copies!! I promise that my next mould will be from one off my own designs. (or perhaps that GW leman russ battletank in 20mm...wha, wha, wha, (evil laughing))
an skeleton elephant with a self-cast howdacomparison between the original and the copy
