Tallarn troops for the Imperium!! these are 3d scans of the original metal miniatures I got from a friendly guy on facebook. scaled down to 20mm scale.

star wars

 Star wars in 20mm was always one of the items on my to-do list. as a child I loved to paint german matchbox soldiers white to represent stormtroopers, a darth vader with a paper cape, and airfix german mountaintroops as Hoth rebels. now with 3d printing a real 20mm hoth battle is in reach.

The AT-AT is a model from revell, stated as 1:43 scale, but in my opinion much closer to 1:72

I always loved the GW warhammer 40K stuff. Great miniatures, great background stories. a shame the miniatures are so shamelessly expensive. the solution...40K in 20mm.

Rhino left-side printed

Got my rhino left-side from my 3d print service. LOVE IT!! don't know if it is perhaps a little to small? should I make it just a little bit bigger? Anyway, it is all a big experiment, so le't's see where it ends ;-) . Going to make a mould for it so I can make more of them. Never made a mould, so I guess it is going to be a messy bussiness... keep you informed.

space marines on workbench

wanted to show you what is on my workbench now. painting a bunch of space marines. body's are from the starcraft boardgame, the heads from dark dreams space battle box, combined with some parts from games workshop space marines...

leman russ (cad model)

much to warm to do any painting, just relaxing in the garden with a cold beer and my family and friends. there are worser ways to spend your time... but I did some cad work in my spare time at work, (it has airco). it is a leman russ tank from the 40K universe. I'm not going to print it at the time. waiting on the new material at my 3d printing service, wich makes models with much more details possible. but imagine a battle with lots of 20mm imperial guard and lots of leman russ tanks against my 20mm tyranids!!!

The Space Marines are commin' . and in 20mm plastic!!! The normal soldier is from caesar.

SciFi tank

Bought a scifi tank from critical mass games. a realy nice hightech tank. although originaly a 15mm miniature I think it works wonderfull well with 20mm.

look for yourself. I took a comparison picture with a 1/72 T34.

now if I just had a moment time to paint it...
