dug out my british-dutch napoleonics army. painted them some 10 years ago. gave them the armypainter treatment and new bases. now rebasing the dutch troops.

warmaster ancient game

we did our first warmaster ancient game this weekend, romans against carthaginians. it was great fun, although we should have done a better job in reading the rules !!! at the end it was a victory for the romans, (more thanks to their god of luck, than by tactics...hahaha, sorry Matthijs).

undead elephants

found this skeleton elephant (or mammoth) in our local Action, (a shop with low priced products) while looking for some cheap lego for my boy. it was packed with a couple of dinosaur skellies. I think the scale is perfect !! The howdah is from a zvezda elephant, the skellies are from caesar. have to buy some more boxes

still no update...

it's been a long time and sorry to say, still no update. I started another project, some terrainboards for mordheim. but I promise to paint some 20mm stuff again very soon. a sneak preview from 1 section of the new terrainboards

hello all, long time no update, I've been busy with painting my house (now, that is a challenge!!) and vacation. a quick update, the undead knights unit.

new material for 3d printing

shapeways has a new material for 3d printing. much, much better detail!! printed the volleygun in the new material and now you can see all the small details... on the left is the new FUD (Frosted Ultra Detail), on the right the 'old' White Detail

game room

not much painting this month, working on a game room in the garage. work of progress photos here. the table is 480x120 cm and based on some old kitchen cabinets, and some board-storage cabinets I made myself. will have to buy some more cabinets to show my miniature collection! the terrainboards are removable and they measure 120x60 and 60x60 cm. More to come soon...
