carthaginians

A friend of mine is starting a republican roman armie and I have to provide the enemy. What better enemy than Hannibal and his Carthaginians. Mighty elephants, Gallic and Spanish allies, numidian horse riders. It will be quit a colourfull bunch. The first elements are already painted, the rest will follow (hopefully) soon. And then up and over the Alps mountains to the first battle with those perky romans....

new empire troops

long time since a update. the beautifull summer weather and my baby son kept me from painting... time well spent. so just a small update with some pictures from the newly painted empire skirmishers and another pike (or halbediers for warmaster) regiment. also some more pictures from the hero stands and a overview from the empire army so far.

hope to show you more soon (allthoug the weather is still very nice....)

workbench and good news

first some pictures from my workbench, not painted for 2 weeks, to busy at work and baby son. teh griffon is from splintered light as are the ogres for the orc army. the hero knight is from the zvezda french knights box. hop to show you some painted pictures soon.

also some good news from caesar. I send them some pictures from my orcs and goblins army with some questions, and they answered with the following message:

I will post them on website this week. I like it much. And yes I will produce more fantasy series in the future. Appreciate for your wonderful support.

can not resist to show you what I put together yesterday. A Hero on a pegasus for my empire army, and a scout-walker for my epic 40K army (if I ever have the time to start with that project)

got some empire hero stands ready. It is Freiherr Jacob von Fenloch with his brave dog as companion and a sorceress (caesar).
